Home office in ash with furniture Lino inlays
Our client at Wingreen wanted to create a flexible working space that improved the acoustics of the room for remote calls whilst creating space to bring in colleagues for face to face working.
We created a full length desk area with a refreshment area and under counter drinks fridge at one end, and acoustically treated call area at the other. A counter top mounted waste bin completes the drinks area and undermounted drawers add storage to each desk.
The desktops are built in solid ash and inlaid with Forbo furniture lino, in a nod to the traditional leather inlays found on writing desks.
The acoustic treatment uses felt backing with alternating thicknesses of ash slats. The design of the panelling is carried through to the entryway which features a custom coat hanger and shoe rack.
