Tim Emberley

Tim is our Business Director, and has been running local catering businesses for over two decades. His time as a chef has given him a keen eye for a well designed kitchen, and he’s also an avid record collector.

Yasin Elganaini
Yasin Elganaini

Yasin is our Workshop Director. He studied carpentry for three years at weymouth college, and has been working with Peter on various projects for the past five years.

Peter Travis
Peter Travis

Peter is our Production Director. He has been working in joinery and construction in various capacities for over 3 decades and brings with him a wealth of experience and craft.

Sam Travis
Sam Travis

Sam is our Design Director. He studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths before becoming a designer, with clients including Somerset House and the Royal Institute of British Architects. His fascination with furniture began with mid-century renovation projects.

our name

 

We’re a business founded and run by family and long time friends. We took our name from Sally Travis’ award winning ‘Huxtable Honey’, which she in turn named after her grandfather John Huxtable - whose typewriter she used to create labels for her jars.
