The Coach House
Built in wardrobes in cherry, ash and rattan
This set of large built in wardrobes is made with a unique combination of cherry, ash and rattan. The door design is partly inspired by Japanese shoji, with base panels woven of ash between cherry staves and large grids of rattan above.
The folding doors are mounted on sliding hardware, and they allow for access across multiple wardrobes at once without the obstruction of the open doors. Top opening doors make use of the space formed by the pitched ceiling.
Each wardrobe contains a hanging space above a set of dovetailed drawers made in solid ash. A dressing table with a cherry top and framing creates a focal point for the piece.
